What: For the first Coastal Flood Watch, significant coastal flooding possible. Inundation of 2 to 2.50 feet above ground level is possible along shorelines and low-lying coastal areas. For the second Coastal Flood Watch, significant coastal flooding possible. Inundation of 2.50 to 3 feet above ground level is possible along shorelines and low-lying coastal areas.
Where: Grays Harbor County Coast zone.
When: For the first Coastal Flood Watch, from Friday morning through Friday afternoon. For the second Coastal Flood Watch, from Saturday morning through Saturday afternoon.
Impacts: Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure may be inundated. Some shoreline erosion may occur.
Additional Details: Highest impacts will occur during the late morning high tides on Friday and Saturday, around 1100 AM to 1200 PM.
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
