What: For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as zero expected. For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold wind chills as low as 5 below possible.
Where: In North Carolina, Bertie, Hertford, and Northampton Counties. In Virginia, James City, Southampton, and Surry Counties.
When: For the Cold Weather Advisory, until 1 AM EST Sunday. For the Extreme Cold Warning, from 1 AM to 10 AM EST Sunday.
Impacts: The cold wind chills as low as 5 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken.

Recommended Action

Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go outside. Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
