Description

What: Snow. Snow accumulations up to two inches, localized amounts up to 3 inches are possible in far southeastern York County. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
Where: York County.
When: Until 1 PM EST Sunday.
Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

Recommended Action

What: For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 2 above expected. For the Wind Advisory, north winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected. For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold wind chills as low as 4 below expected.
Where: In North Carolina, Camden, Chowan, Gates, Pasquotank, and Perquimans Counties. In Virginia, Chesapeake and Suffolk, and Isle of Wight, Newport News, and York Counties.
When: For the Cold Weather Advisory, until 1 AM EST Sunday. For the Wind Advisory, from 7 PM this evening to 1 PM EST Sunday. For the Extreme Cold Warning, from 1 AM to 10 AM EST Sunday.
Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
