What: Minor flooding is forecast. Where: Sabine River near Deweyville. When: From late Friday night to Monday morning. Impacts: At 24.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding will occur. Additional Details: - At 8:45 PM CST Wednesday the stage was 22.8 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage early Saturday morning to a crest of 24.1 feet early Saturday afternoon. What: Very cold wind chills as low as 12 expected.
Where: Portions of central, south central, southwest, and west central Louisiana and southeast Texas.
When: From 2 AM to noon CST Saturday.
Impacts: Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.

Recommended Action

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
