Description

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to bepossible.* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the followingareas, Brazos, Burleson, Chambers, Coastal Harris, Grimes,Houston, Inland Harris, Madison, Montgomery, Northern Liberty,Polk, San Jacinto, Southern Liberty, Trinity, Walker, Waller andWashington.* WHEN...Through Sunday afternoon.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff has resulted in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.Additional flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive river flooding isongoing and additional street flooding remains possible.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- A lull in activity is expected tonight into tomorrow;however, any rainfall that occurs during the overnight hoursmay contribute to the ongoing flooding. The primary focus isfor late Saturday night into Sunday with the potential foradditional heavy rainfall. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 incheswith isolated higher amounts will be possible Saturday nightinto Sunday.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
