Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
Where: A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Brown, Callahan, Coke, Coleman, Concho, Crockett, Irion, Kimble, Mason, McCulloch, Menard, Nolan, Runnels, San Saba, Schleicher, Sterling, Sutton, Taylor and Tom Green.
When: Through this evening.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Additional Details: - A line of showers and thunderstorms will move through West Central Texas late morning through this evening. Heavy rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible as the storms move through, A few areas may see up to 5 inches. With soils already saturated, rainfall will quickly run off and produce flash flooding. Low water crossings, city streets, and other flood prone and low lying areas will be particularly susceptible. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
