...Forecast flooding changed from Moderate to Major severity andincreased in duration for the following rivers in Texas...Chambers Creek Near Rice affecting Navarro County.* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Chambers Creek near Rice.* WHEN...Until Wednesday evening.* IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, Major out of bank flooding along the creekis expected. Farm and ranch industries will be flooded. Severalrural roads along the river will be flooded.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 1:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 22.2 feet.- Bankfull stage is 24.0 feet.- Flood stage is 24.0 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stagelate this afternoon to a crest of 30.2 feet tomorrow evening.It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday morning.
