Flood Warning

Description

The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texa
S: Sabine River Near Mineola affecting Wood and Smith Counties. For the Sabine Riverincluding Mineola, Hawkins, Gladewater, Longview, Beckville, LogansportMinor flooding is forecast.
What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Sabine River near Mineola.
When: From Sunday evening until further notice.
Impacts: At 16.0 feet, Expect flooding of low river bottoms with secondary roadways along with picnic and recreational areas becoming inundated as well. Ranchers should move cattle and equipment to higher ground.
Additional Details: - At 9:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 7.6 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow evening and continue rising to a crest of 15.8 feet early Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
