THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 147 IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CDT SUNDAY FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN ARKANSAS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 4 COUNTIES IN SOUTH CENTRAL ARKANSAS UNION IN SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS COLUMBIA LAFAYETTE MILLER IN LOUISIANA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 9 PARISHES IN NORTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA JACKSON LINCOLN OUACHITA UNION IN NORTHWEST LOUISIANA BIENVILLE BOSSIER CADDO CLAIBORNE WEBSTER IN TEXAS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 10 COUNTIES IN NORTHEAST TEXAS BOWIE CAMP CASS GREGG HARRISON MARION MORRIS SMITH UPSHUR WOOD THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ARCADIA, ATLANTA, BERNICE, BIG SANDY, BOSSIER CITY, BRADLEY, DAINGERFIELD, EL DORADO, FARMERVILLE, GIBSLAND, GILMER, HAWKINS, HAYNESVILLE, HOMER, HUGHES SPRINGS, JEFFERSON, JONESBORO, LEWISVILLE, LINDEN, LONE STAR, LONGVIEW, MAGNOLIA, MARSHALL, MINDEN, MINEOLA, MONROE, NAPLES, OMAHA, PITTSBURG, QUEEN CITY, QUITMAN, RINGGOLD, RUSTON, SHREVEPORT, SPRINGHILL, STAMPS, TEXARKANA, TEXARKANA, TYLER, AND WINNSBORO.

Flood Warning

Description

The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texa
S: Sabine River Near Mineola affecting Wood and Smith Counties. For the Sabine Riverincluding Mineola, Hawkins, Gladewater, Longview, Beckville, LogansportMinor flooding is forecast.
What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Sabine River near Mineola.
When: From Sunday evening until further notice.
Impacts: At 16.0 feet, Expect flooding of low river bottoms with secondary roadways along with picnic and recreational areas becoming inundated as well. Ranchers should move cattle and equipment to higher ground.
Additional Details: - At 9:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 7.6 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow evening and continue rising to a crest of 15.8 feet early Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
