Freeze Warning

Description

What: Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 26 to 32 degrees are expected.
Where: Atascosa, Bexar, Dimmit, Frio, Karnes, Maverick, Wilson, and Zavala Counties.
When: From 2 AM to 9 AM CST Sunday.
Impacts: Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

Recommended Action

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to drip slowly.
