...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas...Trinity River near Romayor affecting San Jacinto, Liberty andPolk Counties.For the Trinity River...including Crockett, Riverside, Romayor,Goodrich, Liberty, Moss Bluff...Major flooding is forecast.* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Trinity River near Romayor.* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon until further notice.* IMPACTS...At 42.0 feet, Major lowland flooding begins withwidespread inundation of the flood plain in the vicinity of thegage. Numerous head of livestock are threatened if not alreadyremoved from the flood plain. Downstream communities in Libertyshould prepare for possible flooding.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 7:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 36.1 feet.- Bankfull stage is 30.0 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stageearly tomorrow afternoon and continue rising to a crest of41.9 feet early Thursday morning.- Flood stage is 40.0 feet.- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of42.2 feet on 05/10/1957.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
