Pm Mdt/ Monday For Wind And Low Relative Humidity For South Central South Dakota: The National Weather Service in Aberdeen has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 1 PM CDT /noon MDT/ to 8 PM CDT /7 PM MDT/ Monday.
Affected Area: In South Dakota, Stanley, Jones and Lyman.
Winds: Northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph this afternoon. Southwest to west 10 to 20 mph with gusts around 25 mph on Monday.
Relative Humidity: 15 to 25 percent.
Impacts: Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become difficult to control or suppress.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
