Extreme Cold Warning

Description

What: Dangerously cold wind chills into the single digits expected.
Where: Portions of southeast Georgia and southeast South Carolina.
When: From 7 PM Saturday to noon EST Sunday.
Impacts: Frostbite and hypothermia could occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. An extended period of freezing temperatures could cause ruptured water pipes.

Recommended Action

Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go outside. Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
