Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize thedangers of flooding.

Description

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of northern Oklahoma, including the followingcounty, Kay.* WHEN...Until midnight CDT tonight.* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lyingand flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roadsremain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundatedwith water and may not be passable.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 619 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to beginshortly in the warned area.
