THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS EXTENDED TORNADO WATCH 86 TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING AREAS UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT IN OKLAHOMA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 6 COUNTIES IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA CRAIG CREEK NOWATA ROGERS TULSA WASHINGTON OK THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BARTLESVILLE, CLAREMORE, NOWATA, SAPULPA, TULSA, AND VINITA.

Description

At 1008 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm 5 miles north of Stillwater, moving northeast at 35 mph.
Hazard: Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
Source: Radar indicated.
Impact: Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations in or near the path include Hominy Skedee Hallett Jenning

Recommended Action

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for northeastern Oklahoma.
