Description
What: Very cold wind chills between zero and 10 below expected.
Where: Portions of northwest and west central Arkansas and east central, northeast, and southeast Oklahoma.
When: From midnight Friday Night to noon CST Saturday.
Impacts: The cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
Recommended Action
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. If you do not have heat in your home or lack shelter, you can call 211 for assistance locating appropriate shelter from the cold.
