The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Flood Warning for the following river
S: Great Miami River at Miamitown. Great Miami River near Middletown.
What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Great Miami River near Middletown.
When: From this afternoon to early Sunday afternoon.
Impacts: At 12 feet, water approaches structures south of Route 73 between Excello and the Great Miami River. This includes properties along Oxford Street.
Additional Details: - At 11:30 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 11.6 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon and crest near 12.5 feet early Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 12 feet.
