Severe Thunderstorm Warning

Description

At 550 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Bristolville, or 11 miles north of Warren, moving east at 45 mph.
Hazard: Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
Source: Radar indicated.
Impact: People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect damage to trees and power lines. Locations impacted include Warren, Cortland, Kinsman, North Bloomfield, Orwell, Andover, West Farmington, Bristolville, Vienna Center, Vienna, Mecca, Johnston, Cherry Valley, Orangeville, Yankee Lake, Brookfield Center, West Hill, Champion Heights, and Howland Center.

Recommended Action

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. This storm is producing large hail. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy structure and stay away from windows.
