Description

What: For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 7 above. For the Wind Advisory, north winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected. For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold wind chills as low as zero expected.
Where: Beaufort, Mainland Hyde, Pamlico, Southern Craven, and Washington Counties.
When: For the Cold Weather Advisory, until 7 PM EST this evening. For the Wind Advisory, from 4 PM this afternoon to 1 PM EST Sunday. For the Extreme Cold Warning, from 7 PM this evening to 10 AM EST Monday.
Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Recommended Action

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go outside. Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
