Description

What: Southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
Where: St. Lawrence Valley
When: From 10 AM to 10 PM EST Monday.
Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. The strong winds and weight of ice on tree limbs and power lines could increase the threat of downed power lines and power outages.
Additional Details: Strongest gusts will be during the daytime hours. During the evening, gusty winds will be accompanied by snow showers which will cause further difficult travel.

Recommended Action

Secure or shelter objects in a safe location prior to the onset of the strong winds. Do not touch downed lines and report any power outages to your electric company.
