Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
Where: All of southeast New York, northeastern New Jersey, and southern Connecticut.
When: From this afternoon through Monday night.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of urban areas, rivers, creeks, streams, and other low lying and flood prone locations.
Additional Details: - Multiple rounds of heavy showers and thunderstorms from this afternoon into Monday night are likely to leave significant total rainfall of 2 to 4 inches, with locally higher amounts. Hourly rainfall amounts up to 2 inches may be possible. These conditions could lead to flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
