Three feet of water are spilling over and there is widespread flooding downstream between Hinckley and Herkimer. Route 28 from White Creek Road To Mechanic Street In Newport is closed due to water over the roadway. Where: Mohawk River at Little Falls.
When: Until just after midnight tonight.
Impacts: At 15.0 feet, Minor flood stage. Water overflows onto Route 5S near Fort Herkimer and farm fields are flooded.
