Locally dense fog is expected this morning. Motorists should be prepared for rapidly changing visibilities and should use caution if traveling. Slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Visibilities should begin improving by 10am.

Description

What: Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
Where: Northeast Suffolk, Northern Nassau, Northwest Suffolk, Southeast Suffolk, Southern Nassau, and Southwest Suffolk Counties.
When: Until 10 AM EST this morning.
Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

Recommended Action

If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
