At 314 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Los Alamos, drifting very slowly toward the southeast.
Hazard: 60 mph wind gusts.

Impact: Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include Los Alamos, White Rock, Bandelier National Monument, Frijoles and San Ildefonso Pueblo.

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
