The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Saturday morning through late Saturday night.
Winds: Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph during the daytime. Winds shift to the north Saturday night with gusts of 35-40 MPH possible.
Relative Humidity: As low as 9 percent.
Impacts: Any fire that develops will spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
