Description

CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS LIKELY THIS AFTERNOON AREA-
Wide And Possible Again On Tuesday Afternoon In North Central Kansas:
Winds: Mainly from the west to southwest, sustained 15 to 20 MPH and gusting 20 to 30 MPH.
Relative Humidity: As low as 10 to 20 percent.
Impacts: Any fire that develops will spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Recommended Action

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
