Critical Fire Weather Conditions This Afternoon: The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from noon today to 7 PM CDT this evening.
Winds: Out of the west to southwest, generally sustained at least 15 MPH and gusting to at least 25 MPH.
Relative Humidity: As low as around 15 percent.
Impacts: Any fire that develops will spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
