Critical Fire Weather Conditions Expected This Afternoon And Possible Monday Afternoon: The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Monday afternoon through Monday evening.
Winds: Out of the west to west-southwest, sustained between 15-20 MPH and gusting as high as 30MPH.
Relative Humidity: As low as 12-20 percent.
Impacts: Any fire that develops will spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Recommended Action

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible Red Flag Warnings.
