Description

What: West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.
Where: Central and Southeast Phillips, Central and Southern Valley, Garfield, McCone, and Petroleum Counties.
When: From 2 PM this afternoon to 9 PM MDT Thursday.
Impacts: Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft.
Additional Details: Strongest winds are expected Wednesday afternoon.

Recommended Action

Boaters on Fort Peck Lake should use extra caution since strong winds and rough waves can overturn small craft.
