Description

What: Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 6 inches with locally higher amounts above 7000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph may create areas of blowing and drifting snow Thursday evening.
Where: The Continental Divide along the Rocky Mountain Front, Upper Blackfoot and MacDonald Pass, Elkhorn and Boulder Mountains, and Beaverhead County Mountains.
When: From 6 AM Thursday to 6 AM MDT Friday.
Impacts: Tire chains may be required for some vehicles if traveling through mountain passes.

Recommended Action

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions can be obtained by calling 5 1 1 or visiting the MDT Road Report website.
