Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.
Where: Portions of central and north central Missouri, including the following counties, in central Missouri, Cooper, Howard and Saline. In north central Missouri, Carroll, Chariton, Linn, Macon and Randolph.
When: Until 700 AM CDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 123 AM CDT, the public reported flooding in the advisory area. Route 139 in Chariton County is flooded south of Route TT. Additional flooding has been reported in Howard County east of New Franklin. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Moberly, Marshall, Boonville, Macon, Brookfield, Fayette, Marceline, Slater, Salisbury, Huntsville, Glasgow, New Franklin, Brunswick, Bevier, Higbee, Keytesville, Bucklin, Laclede, Bosworth and Clark. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
