Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: A portion of central Missouri, including the following county, Camden.
When: Until 615 AM CDT Sunday.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 1213 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Osage Beach, Camdenton, Village of Four Seasons, Richland, Lake Ozark, Laurie, Macks Creek, Sunrise Beach, Linn Creek, Stoutland, Climax Springs, Old Linn Creek, Roach, Green Bay Terrace, Hurricane Deck, Decaturville, Purvis, Barnumton, Freedom, Montreal, Branch, Wet Glaize, Lake of The Ozarks, Ha Ha Tonka State Park and Lake of The Ozarks State Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Recommended Action

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood deaths occur in vehicles.
