Description

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Mississippi Wolf River Above Gulfport affecting Harrison County.
: The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Mississippi Biloxi River Near Lyman affecting Harrison County. For the Wolf Riverincluding GulfportMinor flooding is forecast. For the Biloxi Riverincluding LymanMinor flooding is forecast.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Wolf River above Gulfport.
When: Until late Monday night.
Impacts: At 10.0 feet, Bells Ferry Road will be closed within a mile of the bridge as the road will be covered by swift moving river current.
Additional Details: - At 7:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 10.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 PM CDT Sunday was 11.0 feet. - ForecastThe river will fall below flood stage tomorrow evening to 2.5 feet Tuesday evening. It will then rise to 6.3 feet Wednesday morning. It will fall to 2.5 feet Wednesday evening. It will then rise to 5.9 feet Thursday morning.
