Strongest winds locally expected in select counties of northeast Iowa causing blowing snow and blizzard conditions into tonight. Strong winds elsewhere will cause areas of blowing snow. Highest additional accumulations locally expected in Grant County as the band of higher snowfall rates continues east-southeast through the evening hours.
What: Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
Where: In Iowa, Howard and Winneshiek Counties. In Minnesota, Dodge and Mower Counties.
When: Until 11 PM CST this evening.
Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
