...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers inMinnesota...Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties.Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Lac qui Parle, Chippewaand Yellow Medicine Counties..Recent and future rainfall continue to impact river levels on theMinnesota River at Montevideo and Morton. Rain and thunderstormsremain likely overnight, with another storm system set to bringwidespread rain and thunderstorms to the region on Tuesday. Riverlevels will remain steady or rise further as a result.* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Minnesota River at Montevideo.* WHEN...Until further notice.* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Low lying areas and some roads along theriver begin flooding, along with some basements of houses alongthe river.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 800 PM CDT Sunday, the stage was 14.7 feet.- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hoursending at 800 PM CDT Sunday was 14.7 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 14.0 feet Sunday,June 09.- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of14.7 feet on 04/11/1960.
