Description

The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Michigan Cass River At Frankenmuth affecting Saginaw County. Shiawassee River At Owosso affecting Saginaw and Shiawassee Counties. Saginaw River At Saginaw affecting Saginaw and Bay Counties.
: The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Michigan Tittabawassee River At Midland affecting Midland and Saginaw Counties. For the Cass Riverincluding Cass City, Vassar, Frankenmuth Minor flooding is forecast. For the
Shiawassee: including OwossoMinor flooding is forecast. For the Tittabawassee Riverincluding Sanford, MidlandModerate flooding is forecast. For the Saginaw Riverincluding SaginawModerate flooding is forecast.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
Where: Tittabawassee River at Midland.
When: Until Saturday evening.
Additional Details: - At 10:30 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 24.5 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest of 27.1 feet early Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday afternoon. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Recommended Action

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
