Description

What: For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 15 below expected. For the Extreme Cold Watch, dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below possible.
Where: In Maryland, Eastern Garrett, Extreme Western Allegany, and Western Garrett Counties. In Virginia, Central Virginia Blue Ridge and Northern Virginia Blue Ridge, and Western Highland County. In West Virginia, Western Grant, Western Mineral, and Western Pendleton Counties.
When: For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 7 PM this evening to 11 AM EST Saturday. For the Extreme Cold Watch, from Saturday evening through Sunday afternoon.
Impacts: Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
