Wintry Mix Likely Through Today: .A messy winter storm has arrived and will last through today. While all winter weather types are possible, it looks like this storm will feature enough freezing rain to make travel hazardous through this afternoon.
What: Mixed precipitation. Additional snow accumulations up to two inches, sleet accumulations around one quarter of an inch, and ice accumulations between one tenth and one half of an inch.
Where: Portions of south central, southwest, west central, and western Maine and central and northern New Hampshire.
When: Until 7 PM EST this evening.
Impacts: Difficult travel conditions are possible due to icy road conditions. This is especially true on untreated side roads. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commutes.
