The steady snow has ended, however scattered snow showers will continue this morning. Winds picking up out of the northwest will result in blowing and drifting snow across the area through late this morning. Use caution when traveling near agricultural areas.

Description

Snow blowing across the roads in open areas will create near zero whiteout conditions at times north of a Dover Foxcroft to Houlton line, especially to areas exposed to the northwest winds through late morning. Be mindful of drifting snow in areas exposed to the winds. Motorists should use caution as snow will likely blow over roadways, covering the pavement and producing slippery conditions. Drive slowly, keep your distance from the car ahead of you, and keep your headlights on.
