Coastal Flood Warning

Description

What: Minor to moderate coastal flooding impacts expected due to a large ocean storm for the Monday afternoon high tide.
Where: In Maine, Coastal York County. In New Hampshire, Coastal Rockingham County.
When: From 1 PM to 6 PM EST Monday.
Tidal Flood Impacts: Water levels just above flood stage will result in 1 to 2 feet of inundation in the most flood-prone locations.
Wave Impacts: Significant nearshore waves of 10-15 feet will result in significant beach erosionsplash overand the lofting of rocks and ice onto shoreline roads.

Recommended Action

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.
