If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead tolocalized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through floodedroadways.If on or near Cross Lake, get out of the water and move indoors orinside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 milesfrom the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are closeenough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do notbe caught on the water in a thunderstorm.

At 906 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strongthunderstorms 7 miles southeast of Greenwood, or 8 miles southwest ofShreveport, moving northeast at 25 mph.HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.SOURCE...Radar indicated.IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow aroundunsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation ispossible.Locations impacted include...Shreveport, Bossier City, Greenwood, Blanchard, Benton, Stonewall,Belcher, Eastwood, Fosters, Keachi, Dixie, Keat Chie, Ferguson,Princeton, Spring Ridge, Cross Lake, Bodcau, Barksdale Air ForceBase, Keithville, and Forbing.
