What: Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
Where: Portions of southeast Louisiana, including the following parishes, Assumption, Central Plaquemines, Central Tangipahoa, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Eastern Ascension, Eastern Orleans, Iberville, Lower Jefferson, Lower Tangipahoa, Northern Livingston, Northern St. Tammany, Northern Tangipahoa, Southeast St. Tammany, Southern Livingston, Southwestern St. Tammany, St. Charles, St. Helena, St. James, St. John The Baptist, Upper Jefferson, Upper Lafourche, Upper Plaquemines, Upper St. Bernard, Upper Terrebonne, Washington, West Baton Rouge, Western Ascension and Western Orleans and southern Mississippi, including the following areas, Amite, Northern Hancock, Pearl River, Pike, Southern Hancock and Walthall.
When: Until 9 AM CST Saturday.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Additional Details: - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are still possible in the watch area through 9am. This will occur over already saturated grounds causing ponding and flooding mainly in low lying areas and areas with poor drainage. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
