What: Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
Where: Portions of southeast Louisiana, including the following parishes, Central Tangipahoa, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Northern Livingston, Northern St. Tammany, Northern Tangipahoa, St. Helena, Washington, West Baton Rouge and Western Ascension and southern Mississippi, including the following areas, Amite, Northern Hancock, Pearl River, Pike and Walthall.
When: Until 9 AM CST this morning.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Additional Details: - Additional amounts of 1 to 3 inches of rainfall is expected over the watch area through 9am today. This rain will fall over saturated grounds causing some low lying and poorly drained areas locations to flood. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
