Description
What: Temperatures as low as 29 to 36 degrees will result in areas of frost.
Where: Portions of north central Kansas and central, east central, and south central Nebraska.
When: Until 9 AM CDT this morning.
Impacts: Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
Additional Details: Although sub-freezing temperatures are possible mainly north and west of the Tri-Cities the primary threat to vegetation will be frost and not a true, killing freeze.
Recommended Action
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
