...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers inKansas...Neosho River at Oswego affecting Cherokee and Labette Counties.Neosho River near Parsons affecting Neosho and Labette Counties.* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Neosho River at Oswego.* WHEN...Until early Thursday afternoon.* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, The roads around the water pumping plantand the river gage site floods. Expect field and cropland floodingnear the river.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 12:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 15.4 feet.- Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.2feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stageWednesday evening.- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

At 640 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7miles northwest of Treece, or 8 miles east of Chetopa, movingnortheast at 40 mph.HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.SOURCE...Radar indicated.IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow aroundunsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation ispossible.Locations impacted include...Baxter Springs, Columbus, Galena, Cherokee, Weir, Lowell, Scammon,West Mineral, Treece, Roseland, Neutral, Melrose, Riverton, Lawton,Carona, Skidmore, Hallowell, Sherwin, Faulkner, and Stippville.
