Description

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.* WHERE...A portion of Southeast Kansas, including the followingcounties, Allen, Greenwood, Neosho, Wilson and Woodson.* WHEN...Until 730 PM CDT Monday.* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lyingand flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roadsremain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due toexcess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings areinundated with water and may not be passable.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 921 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported ongoingflooding across the warned area. Between 3 and 9 inches ofrain have fallen.- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall isexpected.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Parsons, Chanute, Iola, Eureka, Neodesha, Fredonia, Humboldt,Yates Center, Erie, Madison, St. Paul, La Harpe, Gas, Moran,Thayer, Altoona, Toronto, Hamilton, Severy and Buffalo.
