Freeze Warning

Description

What: Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 20 expected. Coldest temperatures will occur north and west of the tri-cities.
Where: Portions of north central Kansas and central, east central, and south central Nebraska.
When: Until 9 AM CDT Saturday.
Impacts: Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

Recommended Action

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. Drain outdoor plumbing and hoses to prevent them from being damaged.
