Description

At 649 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Republican City, or 22 miles south of Holdrege, moving northeast at 50 mph.
Hazard: 70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
Source: Automated Weather Stations reported gusts near 70 MPH.
Impact: Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. This severe storm will be near Huntley around 655 PM CDT. Hildreth around 705 PM CDT.

Recommended Action

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
