Description


Band Of Snow From Atlantic To Creston To Near Osceola Will Begin To Diminish This Morning: .A moderate to at times heavy snow band has prevailed since about midnight over a portion of southwest into south central Iowa. While no accumulations are known at this hour, webcams have shown a snow or slushy accumulation on some roads in that portion of Iowa. This band has had a sharp cutoff of snowfall on the northeastern edge. Those that have been and are under this snow band should expect impacts to travel conditions for their morning commute.
What: Snow, perhaps mixed with sleet at times. Additional snow accumulations up to two inches.
Where: Portions of west central into southwest and south central Iowa.
When: Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon.
Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact this morning's commute.
