The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa Iowa River at Oakville affecting Louisa County.
: The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in Iowa Iowa River at Wapello affecting Louisa County. Iowa River at Marengo affecting Iowa and Benton Counties. .Additional rainfall during the first half of this week may cause the river to fall more slowly or potentially rise again mid to late week.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Iowa River at Oakville.
When: Until late tonight.
Impacts: At 11.0 feet, Flood Stage is reached. Flood waters begin to impact agricultural land.
Additional Details: - At 9:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 11.0 feet and gradually falling. - ForecastThe river is expected to gradually fall below flood stage tonight. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

Recommended Action

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. The next statement will be issued by this morning at 1130 AM CDT.
