Flood Watch
What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall remains possible.
Where: Portions of central, north central, northeast, northwest, south central, southeast, southwest, and west central Iowa, including the following counties, in central Iowa, Boone, Dallas, Grundy, Hamilton, Hardin, Jasper, Marshall, Polk, Poweshiek, Story, Tama and Webster. In north central Iowa, Butler, Franklin, Humboldt and Wright. In northeast Iowa, Black Hawk and Bremer. In northwest Iowa, Pocahontas. In south central Iowa, Clarke, Lucas, Madison, Mahaska, Marion, Monroe, Union and Warren. In southeast Iowa, Wapello. In southwest Iowa, Adair, Adams and Cass. In west central Iowa, Audubon, Calhoun, Carroll, Crawford, Greene, Guthrie and Sac.
When: Through Saturday morning.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may also occur in urban areas and in areas with poor drainage.
Additional Details: - Due to antecedent saturated soils and additional heavy rain in the forecast tonight, instances of flooding will be possible.

Flood Watch
The Flood Watch continues for the following rivers in Iowa South Skunk River at Colfax affecting Polk, Marion and Jasper Counties.
What: Flooding is possible.
Where: The South Skunk River at Colfax, or from the Jasper-Polk County Line to the Jasper-Marion County line.
When: From late Saturday night to Sunday evening.
Impacts: At 19.0 feet, Water affects the earthen levee west of town near the sewage disposal area. Evacuations may occur on the northwest side of Colfax. Flooding occurs in Reasnor.
Additional Details: - At 7:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 16.6 feet. - ForecastFlood stage may be reached early Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
